If you’re feeling overwhelmed or like you have already been doing all-the-things, trust me, you aren’t alone, and it isn’t your fault. I’ve seen it happen over and over again firsthand.
For the past couple of years, I’ve been coaching women to help them get their mind and body baby-ready. So I’ve had a chance to see a lot of people go through this process of getting started as a fertility health professional.
And I see the same thing every time.
My clients come to me feeling despair, anxious, scared, and frazzled. The spark in their eyes has left the building. I can feel the sadness.
But by the end of our time together, it’s a completely different vibe. They become hopeful, excited, and believe they can make this happen. And it does.
Suddenly, they’re walking forward again.
“My body is broken” becomes “My body is perfect the way it is.”
“My eggs are bad” becomes “My eggs are healthy.”
“I don’t believe I can get and stay pregnant.” becomes “yes, I can get pregnant and have a successful pregnancy.”
Whoa, what during our work together changed this?? They’ve learned, took action, and started to believe in themselves.
Don’t get me wrong. It’s totally normal to have these doubts, to question yourself or your ability to do this. We all have those moments of this (yep, even me!). Those uncomfortable feelings don’t easily go away.
But what I started to see, over and over, is that having someone in your corner, to be your fertility detective, to guide you through the ins and outs, ups and downs, and the whos and hows helped these women and couples move forward. And it also gave them a sense of control that they had lost before.
Sounds pretty good, doesn’t it?
And you might be yelling “YES, let’s do this!” at your computer screen.
Or, you might be saying, “Well, Ami, that sounds great, but will it work for me?”
And that’s okay and totally normal too.
I want to invite you to accept and embrace that voice of uncertainty and doubt, of being stuck in overwhelm or “not knowing where to start.”
And decide to move forward anyway. Yes, it can be a little scary and overwhelming, but you don’t have to do this alone.
I’m going to walk with you through some of the basics, step by step.
Why? Because I know that it can be just a little bit scary to get started. But I also know that you are ready and committed to your health and building that family that you want so badly.
And when you get the basics down, you will see the difference…in your life, health, and most importantly, in your fertility.
What are you waiting for? Let’s go!
